  Unfortunately, it won't let me leave a 0 star review. The South Charleston DMV has one of the slowest services of any DMV I've ever seen, and that's saying something. I get it if there's a crowd, but you won't convince me it takes 2.5 hours to get through 30 numbers with 6 or 7 tellers open. Then when I had to get back in line after filling out my new title, it took another hour to go through, get this, 8 numbers. I was then told that I'd have to come back the next day for my new title signed over to me. I drove up and back from Ohio, so I knew that would suck, but they told me it'd be ready, and they're the experts, right? Ha! I get there minutes after the doors open and get told they reprint the title in my name because I have a new out-of-state address. I don't care that they couldn't do it. I care that they wasted 8 hours of my time and energy when they could have told me they couldn't do it the day before. I don't know whether to chalk it up to mere incompetence or pure idiocy. If you can go to another DMV, I would, but I'm afraid that all the DMVs in WV will give you some degree of consternation. In Ohio, I got a new license, new title, new plates, inspection, and new license for my wife in under 30 minutes with a few people ahead of us. WVDMVs cannot compare.

  My address is Virginia St. I received a license that said Virgina St. I now have to wait through the entire line/process again, and that harshes my mellow. I know it's kind of a drive, but other Charleston residents may be better served going to the one in Point Pleasant; I've heard their service is better.
